SAUDI GREEN INITIATIVE: TOWARDS 10 BILLION TREES

Inaugurated in 2021, the Saudi Green Initiative unites environmental protection, energy transition and sustainability programs with the overarching aims of offsetting and reducing emissions, increasing the Kingdom’s use of clean energy and addressing climate change.

As part of these ongoing efforts, SGI will be planting 10 billion trees around the Kingdom over the coming years. To announce this enormous task, I was tasked with writing a script that would communicate not only the informative facts and figures around the decades-long project, but do so in a way that could be understanable and digestable to the regular everyday viewer.

The result is a film that combines stunning cinematography with a heartfelt, human script and informative graphics.
